WEICHAI Reports Steady Export Growth as Global Expansion Advances
WEICHAI said its export business continued to grow in 2025, supported by its ongoing global expansion and broader industry shifts toward higher-value manufacturing.
The company has been stepping up its international presence in recent years, leveraging opportunities linked to initiatives such as the Belt and Road, as Chinese equipment makers expand further into overseas markets.
In 2025, WEICHAI reported stable growth across its export operations.
Engine exports totaled 75,000 units, up 8% year-on-year, with products delivered to more than 150 countries and regions.
Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, a key subsidiary, saw its high-end X6000 model receive European Union Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA), allowing it to enter the EU market. The company exported 59,000 units during the year, as it continues to push into the global high-end commercial vehicle segment.

WEICHAI’s agricultural equipment business also recorded strong growth, with overseas revenue reaching RMB 2.38 billion, up 38.2% from a year earlier.
The company’s performance across multiple segments reflects its growing competitiveness and expanding footprint in international markets.
WEICHAI has been strengthening its global sales network and distribution channels, while introducing more flexible sales models to support overseas expansion. It is also accelerating the rollout of higher-end products in international markets, aiming to better meet diverse customer needs.
Looking ahead, the company said it will continue to focus on localization strategies and brand development to sustain export momentum and support long-term growth overseas.
