Foton Launches View i in Brazil, Kicks Off Global Expansion
Foton has officially launched the View i in Brazil, marking its first international market and the start of its global expansion.
The launch underscores Foton’s commitment to advancing its new energy strategy abroad and highlights the rising competitiveness of Chinese electric commercial vehicles in global green logistics.

The View i has been adapted and optimized for the Brazilian market, offering upgraded core features and an improved driving experience.

Performance highlights include 2C fast-charging technology, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 18 minutes, adding roughly 220 km of range—boosting efficiency for daily operations. Comfort has also been enhanced with reduced cabin noise, hydraulic seating, and automatic air conditioning, ensuring a smooth and pleasant drive.

At the launch event, around 20 Brazilian media representatives from the automotive, logistics, and commercial vehicle sectors participated in a test drive. Vehicles were used to deliver food supplies to a local charity, demonstrating real-world performance while showcasing Foton’s social responsibility.

During urban driving tests, the View i delivered stable handling, reliable payload capacity, and smooth operation, proving well-suited for city deliveries and short-distance transport in Brazil. By combining product demonstrations with public welfare activities, Foton presented a responsible and approachable brand image to the local market.
With this launch, Foton begins its global expansion journey, using Brazil as a stepping stone to enter additional international markets. The company plans to continue developing new energy commercial vehicles and providing efficient, environmentally friendly logistics solutions to customers worldwide.
