Microvast Powers Lingong Mining Trucks
Mining trucks developed by Lingong Heavy Machinery and equipped with high-performance battery systems from Microvast have recently entered large-scale commercial operation, marking a new step forward in the electrification of mining equipment.
The deployment highlights Microvast’s established capabilities in the commercial and specialty vehicle battery sector. By leveraging its core technologies, the company provides an effective solution to range and performance challenges, while supporting the transition toward greener operations in demanding environments such as mining.
As part of the project, Microvast delivered tailored battery solutions designed for extreme working conditions. With nearly two decades of experience in the field, the company has focused on addressing key pain points in commercial and specialty vehicle applications. Its 53.5Ah battery cell, developed specifically for high-duty cycles, offers long service life and reliable performance, meeting the rigorous operational requirements of mining trucks.

In addition to performance benefits, Microvast’s battery technology helps reduce total cost of ownership for fleet operators by improving efficiency and lowering operating expenses. The modular system design enables seamless integration into vehicles without the need for major structural modifications, simplifying both installation and maintenance processes.
