FAW TRUCKS Delivers 200 JH6 TIR Trucks for Silk Road Logistics
On April 13, the “Silk Road Launch · Global Smart Connectivity” event was held in Urumqi, alongside the official opening of the TIR hub at the Uralp International Logistics Industrial Park and a FAW TRUCKS JH6 delivery ceremony. During the event, 200 FAW TRUCKS JH6 TIR tractor units were officially handed over and will be deployed in cross-border logistics operations, strengthening transport capacity in the core regions of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The delivery comes as FAW TRUCKS continues to upgrade its JH6 product family to meet the growing demand for efficient and high-quality logistics services. The lineup includes multiple configurations such as Zhizun, Zhixiang, Zhiyue, and Zhixing editions. The JH6 series is designed around fuel efficiency, comfort, intelligent features, and durability, providing practical transport solutions for logistics operators. To date, cumulative sales have exceeded 500,000 units, with the model exported to more than 70 countries and regions worldwide. It is widely recognized as a versatile heavy-duty truck suitable for a broad range of transport applications.

In terms of performance, the JH6 is equipped with a mature and efficient powertrain system that delivers strong output and high transmission efficiency. It is capable of handling diverse road conditions, including plains, hills, and mountainous terrain. Combined with FAW TRUCKS’ fuel-saving technologies and low-drag vehicle design, the model helps reduce fuel consumption and operating costs while improving overall profitability for fleet operators.

For driver comfort and smart operation, the JH6 features a flat-floor cabin design with a spacious interior and wide sleeper berth, offering improved rest conditions during long-haul trips. It is also equipped with air suspension seats, a multifunction steering wheel, and a large central control screen to enhance driving convenience. In addition, the vehicle includes a telematics system that supports remote monitoring, driving behavior analysis, and fault diagnostics, enabling more efficient fleet management and improved safety.

In terms of reliability, the JH6 cabin is built with high-strength steel to enhance structural durability and crash resistance. It is also equipped with multiple active safety systems to reduce operational risks. The vehicle has undergone rigorous durability testing and extreme temperature trials, ensuring stable performance in both cold and hot environments. Key components are designed with extended service intervals, reducing maintenance frequency and improving vehicle uptime, making it well suited for long-distance cross-border transport.
The delivery of 200 FAW TRUCKS JH6 TIR tractor units marks a key step forward for FAW TRUCKS in the cross-border logistics sector and reflects strong market confidence in its product quality. Looking ahead, FAW TRUCKS will continue expanding its presence in the international logistics market, delivering more advanced products and services, supporting global transport development, and contributing to the Belt and Road Initiative.
