JMCG Strengthens Market Position in El Salvador
JMCG has continued to strengthen its presence in El Salvador through its long-term partnership with Continental Motors Group, achieving steady growth in one of Central America's key automotive markets.
The two companies began working together in 2017, combining JMCG's product portfolio with Continental Motors Group's extensive local market experience to expand the brand's presence in the country.
In 2025, JMCG sold 1,361 vehicles in El Salvador, giving the company a 5% share of the overall vehicle market and making it the country's best-selling Chinese automotive brand. In the under-5-ton light truck segment, JMCG achieved a market share of more than 14%.
The company's growth has been supported by Continental Motors Group's 65 years of vehicle distribution experience across the region, together with its established sales network and customer financing solutions. These strengths have helped make JMCG's products more accessible to local customers while supporting the brand's long-term development in the market.

As El Salvador continues to invest in economic development and commercial transportation, demand for reliable commercial vehicles is expected to grow. JMCG has expanded its presence by offering products that meet local market requirements while working closely with its local partner to strengthen sales and customer support.
The company said it will continue to work with Continental Motors Group to expand its business in El Salvador, enhance customer services, and provide commercial vehicle solutions for customers across the country.
