800 Electric Heavy Trucks Powered by Longo Motors Exported Overseas
SANY Heavy Truck has completed the largest single export of Chinese electric heavy-duty trucks to date, with more than 800 vehicles shipped overseas. The order reflects the growing adoption of battery-electric trucks in global freight and logistics markets.

All of the exported trucks are equipped with Longo Motor's 388 platform permanent magnet synchronous motor. The motor delivers a maximum torque of 2,800 N·m and a top speed of 3,000 rpm, providing the power required for heavy-duty transport applications.

Longo Motor has specialized in permanent magnet synchronous motor technology for more than 20 years and supplies electric drive systems for new energy commercial vehicles.
The company's 388 platform motor is designed to offer high power density, high efficiency, strong overload capability, and reliable performance. According to the company, the motor has been validated under a wide range of operating conditions.
For overseas markets, the motor carries IP68 and IP6K9K protection ratings and has completed a 720-hour neutral salt spray test. These specifications are intended to support operation in demanding environments, including high temperatures, low temperatures, and humid conditions.
The export order also reflects the continued development of China's new energy commercial vehicle supply chain. China now has an integrated manufacturing ecosystem covering battery production, electric drive systems, and vehicle assembly.
As one of the industry's key component suppliers, Longo Motor continues to develop its electric drive technology. The company says its motors have achieved or exceeded the performance targets outlined in the industry's 2035 technology roadmap in areas including power density and peak efficiency.
With continued advances in technology, manufacturing, and production capacity, Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturers are increasing their ability to deliver large-volume export orders for international customers.
Longo Motor is expanding its presence in overseas markets alongside its domestic OEM partnerships. The company supplies customized electric drive solutions for export vehicles produced by several Chinese truck manufacturers while also developing its own international business.
Its products have been exported to more than ten countries, including the United States, Germany, Norway, and Brazil. The company has also established overseas branches and service networks to support customers and strengthen cooperation with international truck manufacturers and system suppliers.
As Chinese new energy commercial vehicles gain a larger presence in overseas markets, component suppliers and vehicle manufacturers are continuing to expand their global footprint and contribute to the transition toward lower-emission commercial transportation.
