SHACMAN's First CKD-Assembled Truck Rolls Off Assembly Line in Pakistan
SHACMAN has rolled out the first locally assembled L3000 truck from its CKD (Completely Knocked Down) assembly project in Pakistan, marking a new step in the company's localization strategy in South Asia.
The CKD facility assembles SHACMAN trucks using imported component kits, allowing production to take place locally. According to the company, the project is expected to reduce production costs while supporting the development of Pakistan's automotive manufacturing and parts supply industries.
SHACMAN said its Pakistani partner has recognized the company's technical expertise and manufacturing support. Both sides plan to further strengthen their long-term cooperation by continuing to improve products and customer services.
Pakistan is one of SHACMAN's strategic markets under its global expansion plan. With the local CKD assembly plant now operational, the company has enhanced its manufacturing and delivery capabilities in the region while strengthening its position in the Pakistani commercial vehicle market.
The launch of the first locally assembled L3000 highlights SHACMAN's ongoing investment in localized production and reflects its broader strategy of expanding its manufacturing footprint and supporting long-term growth in international markets.
