FOTON Supports Madagascar's National Day Celebrations
FOTON played a key role in supporting Madagascar's National Day celebrations by providing public transport services, parade logistics, and construction vehicles, underscoring the company's expanding presence in the country's transport and infrastructure sectors.
During the celebrations, FOTON buses operated shuttle services linking neighborhoods across the capital with the national stadium, the main venue for the event. The company's tractor trucks also participated in the National Day parade, transporting display vehicles and equipment through the parade route. In addition, FOTON delivered three new dump trucks to the Madagascar government, further expanding its cooperation beyond public transportation into infrastructure development.
Buses Provide Shuttle Services Across the Capital
To accommodate large crowds attending the celebrations, authorities organized 20 shuttle bus routes serving the national stadium. All routes were operated by FOTON buses.

Each route was served by four buses operating continuously from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., providing reliable transportation throughout the day and helping move passengers efficiently to and from the event.
Tractor Trucks Support Parade Operations
Alongside the shuttle services, FOTON tractor trucks supported the logistics of the National Day parade.

The vehicles transported parade equipment and display vehicles through the main celebration area while adhering to the event's strict schedule and route requirements. Their reliable performance helped ensure the smooth operation of the parade.
Government Receives Three New Dump Trucks
As part of the National Day activities, FOTON officially handed over three new dump trucks to the Madagascar government.

The delivery follows the company's supply of 312 buses last year and represents another milestone in the partnership between the two sides. It also marks the expansion of their cooperation from public transportation into infrastructure construction and municipal operations.
A government representative said the newly delivered vehicles are expected to support future urban development and road maintenance projects, highlighting the government's confidence in FOTON's products.
Expanding Local Service Capabilities
FOTON has continued to strengthen its after-sales network in Madagascar through dealerships and service centers in Antananarivo and major port cities, providing coverage across central and southern regions of the country.
The network provides spare parts, maintenance services, scheduled inspections, and 24-hour emergency support, helping customers maximize vehicle uptime and reduce operating costs across bus, tractor truck, and construction vehicle fleets.
Strengthening Its Long-Term Presence
FOTON said it plans to further expand its investment in Madagascar by strengthening its local service capabilities and working with local partners to support the country's transportation and infrastructure development through commercial vehicle solutions.
