Yuchai-Powered SANY Heavy Trucks Delivered to Tanzania
A fleet of 20 SANY heavy-duty trucks equipped with Yuchai YC6ND diesel engines has been delivered in Tanzania, marking another milestone in the two companies' cooperation in the East African market.
The vehicles were handed over during a delivery ceremony hosted by SANY's Tanzania office. The latest delivery reflects the continued expansion of the partnership between Yuchai and SANY as both companies strengthen their presence in Tanzania.
Designed for demanding operating conditions, the trucks will serve a range of heavy-duty applications, including long-haul logistics, infrastructure construction, and mining transportation. The vehicles have been configured to meet the requirements of Tanzania's challenging road conditions and heavy-load operations.
Powering the fleet is Yuchai's YC6ND diesel engine, which offers high torque, fuel efficiency, and durability. The engine is designed to improve transport efficiency while helping fleet operators reduce fuel consumption and operating costs.
The delivery also highlights Yuchai's broader overseas growth strategy. In recent years, the company has expanded its international footprint by strengthening localized products, after-sales support, and partnerships with commercial vehicle manufacturers in key overseas markets.
Yuchai said it will continue working with SANY to support customers across Africa with powertrain solutions for the transportation, infrastructure, and mining sectors while further expanding the two companies' cooperation in the region.
