Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Posts 75% Growth in Overseas Sales in H1
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle reported a 75% year-on-year increase in overseas sales in the first half of the year as it continued to expand its international business through product upgrades, stronger local operations and an expanded service network.
With global demand shifting toward cleaner and smarter commercial vehicles, the company is accelerating its overseas strategy to strengthen its competitiveness in international markets.
Expanding the Product Portfolio
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle is enhancing its global product lineup with a focus on heavy-duty trucks and construction vehicles for infrastructure projects, cross-border logistics and long-haul transportation.

The company is also expanding its powertrain portfolio to meet the emissions standards and operating requirements of different markets. The Euro V DDi47 and DDi75 engines are already in mass production. The DDi90 engine for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles is expected to enter production by the end of August, while the high-displacement DDi13 engine is scheduled to begin production in October.

Strengthening Global Service Capabilities
To support its growing overseas business, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle is enhancing its service network across the entire customer journey, including order processing, vehicle production, export logistics, delivery and after-sales support.

By 2026, the company plans to upgrade its service network in 10 strategic overseas markets, further improving localized support and after-sales capabilities.
Expanding Local Manufacturing
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle will continue working with Dongfeng Import and Export Corporation to improve coordination across product development, manufacturing, exports, sales and customer service.

The company is also expanding its KD operations to increase localized manufacturing capacity while strengthening spare parts supply, technical support and service capabilities in overseas markets.

Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle plans to continue expanding its international presence by strengthening its product portfolio, enhancing localized operations and improving customer support. The company aims to increase its share of the global commercial vehicle market while supporting the long-term growth of its overseas business.
