SINOTRUK Strengthens After-Sales Support Across Latin America
As SINOTRUK expands its product portfolio and sales presence across Latin America, customers are placing greater emphasis on after-sales support, including technical expertise, response times and service coverage.
To meet these growing expectations, SINOTRUK is strengthening its local service network, developing technical talent and expanding its after-sales capabilities across the region. The company sees strong local service support as an important part of its long-term growth strategy in Latin America.
Since the start of 2026, SINOTRUK has placed greater focus on improving the technical capabilities of local service personnel. The company has also used skills competitions as a platform for technicians from different markets to exchange experience and share technical knowledge.
In July, Mexico hosted the Latin American regional round of SINOTRUK’s second Elite Trainer Skills Competition, bringing together nine service engineers from five countries.

The competition covered theoretical knowledge, technical training, fault diagnosis and hands-on repairs, testing both the participants’ technical expertise and practical service skills. Three engineers advanced to the final competition in China.
The event also gave service engineers from across the region an opportunity to exchange experience and discuss technical challenges in their respective markets. For SINOTRUK, it forms part of a broader effort to build a more professional and locally based after-sales team in Latin America.
As demand for new energy vehicles, light trucks and pickups continues to grow in the region, SINOTRUK has also established specialist technical teams to provide product-specific training in individual markets.
Its new energy vehicle team has conducted training sessions in countries including Mexico and Bolivia, covering high-voltage safety, electric drive systems, power batteries, vehicle control systems, fault diagnosis and repair. The programs combine classroom training with hands-on exercises, giving local technicians practical experience in servicing and repairing new energy vehicles.

For light trucks and pickups, SINOTRUK’s technical teams have provided tailored training in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Venezuela. The sessions draw on common local faults and real-world cases to address technical issues most relevant to customers and service personnel in each market.
During these visits, SINOTRUK’s technical teams also gather feedback from customers and local operations. The information is used to better understand market-specific service needs and refine future training programs.
Through ongoing technical training and local support, SINOTRUK is building stronger after-sales capabilities for its key products and markets across Latin America. The company’s approach is designed to help local service teams diagnose and resolve vehicle issues more efficiently while providing customers with faster and more effective technical support.
SINOTRUK said it will continue to strengthen its local service capabilities with customer needs at the center of its efforts. By expanding professional and efficient after-sales support, the company aims to provide stronger support for its growing business across Latin America.
