FAW TRUCKS Cortron CS600: A 600 hp Tractor for European Long-Haul Transport
FAW TRUCKS has introduced the Cortron CS600, a seventh-generation heavy-duty tractor developed for the European long-haul market. Designed to meet EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) requirements, the truck combines high power output with advanced driver-assistance and cabin technologies.
The CS600 is powered by a 13.2-liter 6DV1 Euro VI engine delivering 600 hp and 3,000 Nm of torque, with thermal efficiency of up to 50%. The powertrain pairs the engine with a ZF TraXon 2 transmission and a FAW TRUCKS D465 axle.
The driver-focused cabin features dual floating connected screens, intelligent voice control and a digital key with remote vehicle functions. A 270-degree panoramic camera system provides a wider view around the vehicle, helping improve visibility and safety.
With its powerful Euro VI engine, integrated powertrain and smart cabin features, the Cortron CS600 is designed to meet the demands of long-distance freight transport in Europe.
