The 23rd China International Transportation and Logistics Expo and 2026 Logistics Industry Week will be held from November 19 to 21, 2026, at the Zhongyuan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhengzhou, China.

The event was officially announced by the organizing committee on July 18. It will be hosted by the China Communications and Transportation Association and jointly planned by Logistics Times Weekly.

A New Platform for the Logistics Industry

The global logistics industry continues to face a challenging environment in 2026. Geopolitical tensions are increasing, global trade patterns are changing, and the economic recovery remains under pressure.

At the same time, a number of foreign government leaders have continued to visit China, showing the resilience of the Chinese economy and the continued attraction of the Chinese market.

China is also placing greater importance on logistics infrastructure and technology. In 2026, the country is making coordinated plans for six major infrastructure networks, with the logistics network included as a key part of national infrastructure.

The integration of artificial intelligence with transportation and logistics is also accelerating. This is creating new opportunities for logistics companies to improve efficiency, expand their businesses and upgrade their operations.

International logistics is also continuing to grow. As the Belt and Road Initiative moves forward, the China-Europe Railway Express had operated more than 130,000 train services as of May 2026, with cargo worth more than $520 billion.

These developments are creating more opportunities for cross-border logistics.

Against this background, the 2026 expo will focus on the theme “New Silk Road Hubs, New Momentum for Logistics.” It will bring together logistics companies, technology providers and industry service organizations to promote cooperation across the logistics supply chain.

The China International Transportation and Logistics Expo was first launched in 1997. Over the years, it has been held 22 times in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Nanjing, Ningbo, Xiamen and Jinan.

It has become an important exhibition for China’s transportation and logistics industries.

Larger Exhibition and Eight Major Areas

The 2026 expo will expand its exhibition area from the 30,000 square meters recorded at the previous event.

The exhibition will feature eight major areas covering supply chain logistics, multimodal transport, smart logistics, green logistics, air cargo, ports and shipping, land transportation and cold-chain logistics.

The event will also include a low-altitude aviation exhibition and a smart commercial vehicle exhibition, showcasing new technologies, products and applications in transportation and logistics.

More than a dozen industry forums and business matchmaking events will also be held during the expo.

Key events will include the 15th Logistics Investment and Financing Conference, the 12th Urban Logistics and Supply Chain Conference, and the 2026 Air Cargo and Airport Development Conference.

Other activities will include a conference on connected commercial vehicles and components, a low-altitude industry investment and financing conference, and a Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone promotion event.

The organizers will also invite major cargo owners, logistics service providers and other companies to form professional buyer groups. One-on-one business meetings will be arranged to help companies find potential partners more efficiently.

The expo will also work with national industry media and other media platforms to provide wider coverage of the event and its exhibitors.

More Focus on International Cooperation

International cooperation will be another major focus of the 2026 expo.

Several international events will be held during the exhibition, including the China-Europe Medical Devices Cold-Chain Logistics Cooperation and Exchange Meeting, the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor Industry and Investment Development Conference, the China-Egypt Logistics and Supply Chain Cooperation Meeting, and a business matchmaking event focused on opportunities in emerging markets.

These events will provide Chinese companies with opportunities to explore overseas markets, meet international partners and develop cross-border supply chain cooperation.

Multimodal Transport in Focus

Multimodal transport will be one of the key areas of the expo.

A dedicated exhibition area will showcase multimodal transport solutions. The event will also host a conference on the high-quality development of multimodal transport.

The discussions will focus on improving connections between road, rail, sea and air transport hubs, promoting the use of a single-document transport system, and developing cross-regional transport corridors.

The expo will showcase integrated and smart multimodal transport solutions designed to improve connections between different modes of transport.

These solutions could help improve the efficiency of domestic long-distance freight transport and cross-border logistics.

Exploring AI in Transportation and Logistics

Artificial intelligence will also have a major presence at the expo.

A dedicated smart logistics exhibition area will showcase how AI is being used in logistics and transportation. Industry experts, business leaders and professional organizations will also discuss the future role of AI in the logistics industry.

The final round of the College Student Transportation Practice and Innovation Competition will also be held during the expo.

The event will work with universities and research institutions to promote cooperation between industry, universities and research organizations. It will also provide young innovators with a platform to present new ideas and technologies in AI-powered transportation.

Other activities will include launches of new logistics products, technologies and applications, as well as city and industry promotion events.

First Time in Zhengzhou

Zhengzhou will host the China International Transportation and Logistics Expo for the first time.

Located in central China, Zhengzhou is an important transportation hub and a national central city. It is also a key city along the Belt and Road Initiative.

In recent years, Zhengzhou has developed a multimodal transport system covering road, rail, sea and air transport.

The city has also built strong capabilities in hub-based economic development, cross-border trade and cold-chain logistics.

The Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone is an important part of this development.

As the only national-level pilot zone for airport-based economic development approved by China's State Council, the zone has been developed for more than 10 years.

It now has eight major advantages, including its institutional framework, transportation hub, open economy, industrial base, development space, business environment, talent pool and large market.

The zone is also focusing on advanced manufacturing and the development of a modern industrial system.

Key industries include electronic information and next-generation information technology, new energy vehicles, biomedicine and healthcare, and aerospace.

The zone is also developing strategic emerging industries such as advanced equipment, new energy and new materials, as well as modern services including logistics, exhibitions, trade, culture and tourism.

These industries provide a strong market base for the development of logistics services.

As part of the 2026 expo, the organizers will hold a dedicated promotion event for the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone and arrange visits to local companies and industrial facilities.

These activities will help exhibitors and professional visitors better understand the local market and explore business opportunities in Henan Province.

Looking Ahead to November

2026 marks the beginning of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period.

The 23rd China International Transportation and Logistics Expo will make use of Zhengzhou's transportation advantages and industrial base to bring together logistics resources from China and overseas.

With a larger exhibition area, broader coverage of the logistics industry and more business activities, the event aims to provide a practical platform for companies to exchange ideas, find partners and develop new business opportunities.

The 23rd China International Transportation and Logistics Expo will take place in Zhengzhou from November 19 to 21, 2026.
