DONGFENG Expands Overseas Operations Through Local Training and Production
DONGFENG is expanding its overseas operations by strengthening local service and production capabilities in key markets.
The company has recently conducted after-sales training for commercial vehicles in Morocco, provided technical training for new energy trucks in Peru, and started local assembly of an electric vehicle in Egypt. These activities aim to improve customer support and strengthen DONGFENG's operations in overseas markets.

In Morocco, DONGFENG held two technical training sessions for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. The training involved 22 local technicians from Casablanca and four nearby cities. Focusing on the GX and KC models, the sessions combined classroom instruction with hands-on practice to improve technicians' skills in vehicle maintenance and repair.

In Peru, DONGFENG provided specialized training for newly delivered new energy tractor trucks to prepare local teams for the challenging conditions of the Andes, including high altitudes, steep slopes and heavy loads.
The training covered fleet management, driving and vehicle maintenance, with participants including fleet managers, drivers and after-sales technicians. Key topics included the vehicles' battery, motor and electronic control systems, as well as high-voltage safety and regenerative braking. DONGFENG also addressed practical concerns such as driving range, climbing ability, battery use and temperature control.
Hands-on sessions focused on correct operating procedures, particularly braking techniques on long downhill roads. The training also included emergency drills for high-voltage power disconnection, helping participants understand how to respond safely in emergency situations.
DONGFENG is also developing its business in Peru's mining and port transportation sectors, providing vehicle and transport solutions suited to local high-altitude conditions. The company aims to support the wider use of new energy commercial vehicles in South America.

In Egypt, DONGFENG has taken another step in its local development with the start of assembly production of the DONGFENG MAGE EV, the overseas version of the Aeolus SKY 01. The launch ceremony was held in Cairo and attended by more than 200 guests, including local government officials, industry media and business partners.
The MAGE EV is DONGFENG's first locally assembled all-electric model for Egypt and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market. The start of production marks further progress in the company's local electric vehicle manufacturing operations.

DONGFENG has been active in Egypt for several years. The new project brings its electric vehicle technology together with local manufacturing capabilities. As production ramps up, the project is expected to support the development of Egypt's automotive industry and strengthen local vehicle manufacturing. DONGFENG also plans to use Egypt's location to expand exports to neighboring markets.
From after-sales training and technical support to local vehicle assembly, DONGFENG is taking practical steps to strengthen its overseas operations.

These efforts are part of the company's "Dongfeng Rising 2030" and "Sailing to the Horizon" plans. DONGFENG will continue to develop its overseas service networks and local production capabilities, offering products and solutions that better meet local market needs and working with partners around the world.
