Qingling Delivers 50 EVC61 Electric Tractor Trucks to Vietnam
Qingling has delivered its first batch of 50 EVC61 electric tractor trucks to Vietnam. The handover ceremony was recently held at the port terminal of Hao Hung Co., Ltd. in Hue, Vietnam. Representatives from Qingling Motors, Vietnam's Vinh Phat Auto and Hao Hung Group attended the event.
The delivery marks a new stage in Qingling's electric commercial vehicle business in Vietnam, moving from trial operations to larger fleet operations. It also marks another step in the company's expansion in the Vietnamese market.
From Trial Operations to Fleet Delivery
In 2025, Qingling exported its first two EVC electric tractor trucks to Vietnam for real-world testing. The vehicles were tested in port logistics and fixed-route transport operations. Their performance, driving range, operating costs and reliability received positive feedback from customers and industry representatives.

Following the trial operations, Qingling has now delivered 50 EVC61 battery-swapping electric tractor trucks to Hao Hung Group. The vehicles will join the group's fleet and mainly transport goods from a wood chip factory to Chan May Port. The one-way journey is about 150 kilometers.

The route is fixed, with frequent trips and heavy loads. The trucks will mainly be used for container transport. Their deployment is expected to help Hao Hung reduce energy consumption and operating costs on short- and medium-haul routes.
Local Support for Daily Operations
Chan May Port is an important deep-water port in central Vietnam and a key export hub for Hao Hung Group. With regular routes and frequent vehicle use, electric tractor trucks can help reduce energy consumption and support the group's move toward lower-emission transport.

To support the vehicles after delivery, Qingling has coordinated several departments to handle business arrangements, vehicle adaptation, quality inspections and after-sales service.

The company has also set up a dedicated support team with staff from product development, quality control, after-sales service and sales. Its service plan includes on-site support, advance stocking of spare parts, local technical training and a rapid response system. These measures are designed to keep the vehicles operating reliably and provide ongoing support to the customer.
Expanding Cooperation in Vietnam's Green Logistics Market
Qingling has more than 40 years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry. Based in Chongqing, China, the company is a major state-owned enterprise with capabilities covering key components, major vehicle assemblies and complete vehicle manufacturing. It produces vehicles for different applications using various technologies.

The delivery of 50 EVC61 trucks provides a practical example of Qingling's expansion in Vietnam, moving from small-scale trials to larger fleet operations. It may also provide experience for similar projects in other overseas markets.
Southeast Asia has significant potential for electric commercial vehicles. Electric light-duty vehicles are expected to see wider use in urban logistics over the next 3–5 years. The adoption of electric medium- and heavy-duty trucks will depend more on cooperation across the supply chain and the development of charging and battery-swapping infrastructure.
Vietnam is also accelerating the development of green transport infrastructure, while demand for low-emission commercial vehicles continues to grow. The delivery will help Hao Hung upgrade its transport fleet and create new opportunities for cooperation between Chinese and Vietnamese companies in commercial vehicles and green logistics.
Qingling said it will continue to expand its overseas business, improve its products through technological innovation and strengthen its service network in international markets. The company will also work with global partners to support the development of greener logistics.
