Visiting Invitation: China Trucks Expo 2028 at MCVE in Malaysia
The Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2028 will return from June 15–17, 2028, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. Recognized as the largest commercial vehicle exhibition in Southeast Asia, the event will once again bring together truck, bus, trailer, parts and technology suppliers from around the world.
Since its launch, MCVE has become an important platform for manufacturers, fleet operators, dealers, government agencies and industry associations to explore new business opportunities and the latest developments in the commercial vehicle sector. The exhibition covers the entire road transport ecosystem, including commercial vehicles, components, electric mobility, fleet management and intelligent transport solutions.

For Chinese truck, bus and component manufacturers looking to expand into Southeast Asia, Malaysia remains one of the region's most strategic markets. As a gateway to the ASEAN market, the country offers opportunities to reach local distributors, fleet operators, logistics companies and public transport customers. In recent years, an increasing number of Chinese commercial vehicle brands have entered the Malaysian market, highlighting the country's growing importance as an export destination.

MCVE also provides exhibitors with opportunities to better understand local market demand, industry trends and regulatory developments while building relationships with potential business partners. Beyond product displays, the exhibition serves as a meeting point for manufacturers, buyers, policymakers and industry professionals across Southeast Asia.
The previous edition, MCVE 2026, demonstrated the exhibition's continued growth and international influence. The three-day event attracted exhibitors from nine countries and welcomed 3,237 professional visitors, including fleet owners, logistics companies, workshop operators, government agencies and commercial vehicle users. Participating brands increased by more than 30% compared with the 2024 edition.

MCVE 2026 also featured the exhibition's first-ever country pavilion, with seven Taiwanese companies participating together to explore the Malaysian market. During the event, exhibitors organized 37 seminars, presentations and technical training sessions, while 88 journalists from Malaysia and overseas provided extensive media coverage, making it the most international edition of the exhibition to date.

As Southeast Asia continues to experience growing demand for commercial vehicles, logistics solutions and new energy transportation, MCVE 2028 is expected to provide another valuable platform for manufacturers seeking business opportunities across the region.
