Jiangling Motor is planning to built a first class auto production base
Board Chairman of Jiangling Motors Mr.Wang Xigao says" In five years, Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd will build a first class auto production base which will be centered on commercial vehicles. The base will be most competitive in Asia-pacific area"
At present, Asia produced commercial vehicle has taken up half of global sales volume. Leaded by China, India and South Korea, Asia has surpassed U.S. and Europe, becoming the major market of commercial vehicles. By year 2013, Asia will become the biggest production center and sales market for heavy duty and light commercial vehicles.
Chinese commercial vehicle market is most profitable and fastest growing market in the world. According to statistics of Society of Automotive Industry of China, in the first half year of 2007, there were 4,370,000 units of automobiles sold in china which is increased 23% compared with same time of 2006. The demand of commercial vehicles is increasing quickly. Among the 4,370,000 vehicles there were 1,290,000 commercial vehicles which is 26% increased.
