The 600,000th Great Wall POER Pickup Rolling off the Production Line
Great Wall Pickup, the sales leader for 26 consecutive years, celebrates the production milestone of 600,000 pickups with the Glory Off-line of the 600,000th Great Wall POER at the Jingmen Smart Factory. This achievement marks the first Chinese pickup brand to surpass 600,000 pickups, achieving a new pinnacle known as the "Great Wall POER Speed." From zero to 600,000 vehicles, the Great Wall POER has set a new benchmark in the Chinese pickup industry, representing a milestone in global development and a brilliant achievement co-created with global users. This accomplishment will accelerate the expansion of the domestic pickup market and usher in a new era of global intelligent luxury pickups.
For more than two decades, every second pickup sold in China has been a Great Wall. Great Wall Pickup has maintained its position as the top-selling pickup for 26 consecutive years, with global sales exceeding 2.6 million vehicles. From January to June this year, Great Wall Pickup sold 91,916 units domestically, commanding nearly 50% of the domestic market share, and exported 24,200 units, achieving a 7.3% year-on-year growth. The Great Wall POER has achieved monthly sales of over 10,000 units for 45 consecutive months, maintaining its dominance in the pickup segment.

In 2019, Great Wall Pickup established itself as China's first global pickup brand, achieving significant milestones in rapid succession: from the first to the 10,000th POER in less than 100 days, reaching 100,000 units within a year, and surpassing 200,000 units in just over two years. By its fourth anniversary, the Great Wall POER celebrated its 500,000th unit, and now, in less than five years, it has achieved the production of its 600,000th unit, setting a new industry record with the "Great Wall POER Speed" and reaching new heights in China's high-end pickup market.

The latest model off the production line, the POER Sahar Performance Edition, is built on the Intelligent Professional Off-Road Tank platform and features a 3.0T+9AT powertrain. Equipped with million-dollar off-road equipment such as 18-inch off-road AT tires, K-MAN nitrogen shock absorbers, and a 12,500-pound T-MAX winch, it enables users to traverse mountains and seas with ease. The POER Sahar Performance Edition comes standard with a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a 14.6-inch floating central control screen, an 8155 chip, L2-level intelligent driving, genuine leather seats, rear electric sliding, and a reclining angle of up to 33 degrees, providing unparalleled comfort for family outings in the domestic pickup market.
Great Wall Pickup is now available in over 50 countries across four continents and has won the annual Best Pickup Awards in Australia, South America, and South Africa! It has also achieved a five-star safety rating under Australia's new ANCAP standards as a Chinese brand.

With the support of Hi4-T new energy technology, the POER Sahar HEV and 2.4T models have debuted in Australia. At the 2024 Bangkok Motor Show, the POER Sahar HEV won the Best Commercial HEV Model Award, and it will continue to make strong advances in markets with high potential for pickups such as ASEAN and South Africa, contributing to the global transition to new energy pickups. Recently, Great Wall Pickup has made a strong entry into the Mexican market, consolidating its leadership position with robust product offerings.

Standing at the new milestone of 600,000 units, Great Wall Pickup aims to popularize Chinese pickups worldwide and shape a new era of pickups, together with global users.
