The third generation "Actros" heavy truck is coming
According to Automobile World, new generation of Actros series heavy truck will be put on market in Germany on August23 by Daimler group.-
Daimler truck department said the new third generation “Actros” heavy trucks have some minor changes in shape and the most striking feature is that they have been equipped with 12 speed Benz Powershift 2 automatic transmissions. Compared with much earlier models, the trucks are more economic, more environmental friendly, more convenient and safer.
Since February 2007, “Actros” had been imported and sold in China. In September, it will also appear on IAA show in Hanoverian, Germany.
Actros serials heavy trucks have been sold in more than 100 countries and sales volume has reached 550,000 units.
