2008 Import & export summary of China commercial vehicles
Statistics show that in the first three quarters, the total import and export of auto products maintained a rapid growth. The imports and exports amounted to a total of 63,121,000,000 U.S. dollars, of which the total amount of imports is 24,310,000,000 U.S. dollars, up 31.01 percent; the total exports are 38,811,000,000 U.S. dollars, which up 34.38 %.
In the first three quarters, imports of motor vehicles are 310,900 units, have 40.24 percent increase. It looks almost the same as last year. The total amount of import is 11,623,000,000 U.S. dollars, up 58.07 percent over last year. Overall, the performance of the third quarter was better than the second quarter.
In the first three quarters, the total import amount of engine parts and components are 12,675,000,000 U.S. dollars, accounting for 52% of the total automotive imports.
