SAIC Iveco become the largest heavy duty truck base in the west
Chongqing will become the famous truck base in China. The northern part new district of SAIC Iveco Hongyan based in Chongqing in April 16th. After the project was finished, the capacity will achieved an annual output of 40,000 units, which make it to be the biggest production base in the west.
“Our annual production is hard to achieve 30,000 units before. But now an increase of production capacity is about 35%.” And yesterday morning, a relevant person who is in charge of SAIC Iveco Hongyan told reporters that.
At the same time he also disclosed that nearly 2 billion yuan was invested to the new base. And it covers an area of 460,000 square meters. At present, the base has already begun to mass production.
