Sichuan: Van earnings 30%profit in the first half year
In the first half of this year, the reconstruction of the affected market made a strong demand in Sichuan truck market. Sales revenues and profits increased by 27% and 33%.
A group of recently released figures from Sichuan Provincial Economic Commission showed that the besides disaster restoration and reconstruction, low steel prices in the first 5 months is also one of the reasons.
Figures also showed that the total car sales in Sichuan Province is about 110,000 in the first half year, of which heavy duty truck sales reached 98,000, while Ziyang Nanjun and Chengdu Wangpai account for 60%.
Another model maintains the growth is Special Purpose Vehicle. The sales have doubled in a company named Meishan Tongsheng Special Purpose Vehicle enterprise. At the same time, Special Purpose Vehicle production and sales have also increased by 13.6% and 11.6%.
