Zhengzhou will build a key production base for trucks
(chinatrucks.com, Jan.26, 2010)According to the recently issued "Zhengzhou City Automobile Industry Development Plan", Zhengzhou will have to build a major automobile industry base with relatively complete industrial chain in the next five years.
According to the plan, Zhengzhou establishes goals for future development to 2013. The capacities will forming 700,000 units and the output will achieve above 60 million units. By 2015, the automobile capacity will reach 1,100,000 units, including new energy vehicle 50,000 units, and the production will exceeded one million units.
The development of Zhengzhou automobile base will focus on medium-sized passenger vehicles, pickup trucks, SUV, MPV, mini bus, heavy-duty trucks, special vehicles and new energy vehicles.
