Growing trend of heavy truck is staying
(chinatrucks.com, April 16, 2010) It is disclosed by latest monthly sales volume that it has created a new record in March. Auto industry society predicted that sales volume increase of 2010 is between 10%-15%.
As for commercial vehicle in March, sales volume of commercial vehicle in March is 470,200, and it has increased 38.79% by same period last year. Percentages of production and sales volumes are respectively increased 57.14% and 58.50% in first quarter of 2010.
Heavy truck emerged as the shining point, and sales volume of heavy truck has created a new high in March, amounts to 118,000, and it is 32% higher than the second highest point in history. The survey show that production forecast of industry manufactory in April is staying stronger. Sequential increase is hope to be growing and will supply support to heavy truck demands.
The first 10 ranking enterprises of sales volume from January to March are Shanghai Auto, Chang’an, FAW, Dongfeng, Foton, Guangzhou Auto, Chery, BYD, JAC, and Huachen. Sales volumes of these ten enterprises occupy 87% of the total at the same period.
According to the analysis, increase speed will slow down at the next half of 2010, and annual sales volume increase will be 10%~15%.
