Chenglong Motor becomes main stream auto manufacturer

(chinatrucks.com, Nov 25, 2010) Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd, located in South West area, is embracing the running off of 1 billionth vehicle on Nov 18th, 2010, which means that Chenglong Motor has become the main stream auto manufacturer in China. At the same time, Chenglong Motor’s shares shall be listed and it will head for the “billions of auto city”.

Chenglong Motor will realize the annual capacity of 100,000 commercial vehicles in accordance with next five development plan in 2015. The plan has indicated the future development of Chenglong Motor, which is the target of becoming “China first class auto manufacturer”.

In commercial vehicle area, Chenglong Motor will step to the team of China main stream commercial vehicle manufacturer in 2015. Chenglong Motor will help Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle realize “China No.1, , World Top Three” medium target because of the fast development of Chenglong in heavy truck area. The technology accumulation of Chenglong Motor will make it enter into next stage highly development.  

At the moment, the capacity expanded programs of 65,000 commercial vehicles have been completed. At the same time, 100,000 commercial vehicle and new base will also be completed. It has laid the foundation of 100,000 commercial vehicles of Chenglong Motor in 2015.
