Daimler Truck applies German steel manufacture patent process
(chinatrucks.com, Dec 31, 2010) Steel Company voestalpine Anarbeitung, the subjected company of German voestalpine has signed an agreement with Daimler Truck on Dec 30th, 2010. Daimler Truck will apply alphas – forming patent technology of voestalpine to produce axle parts within a few years.
The axle produced by Daimler will apply to Mercedes-Benz Actros vehicle. The largest and most advanced Wörth plant of Daimler Truck will be responsible for axle parts and components assembly.
Voestalpine has owned 360 subsidiaries in 60 countries all over the world. It is mainly responsible for the production and sales of high quality steel products and has recruited nearly 40,000 worker staff.
