SAIC establishes commercial vehicle company
(chinatrucks.com, Jan 24, 2011) SAIC has initiated and restructured the layout of commercial vehicle part. It is disclosed by SAIC on Jan 19th, 2011 that it will establish SAIC Commercial Vehicle Company Limited.
SAIC Commercial Vehicle Company has got registering assets of 59,600,000 Euros, and it will develop, produce and sell heavy truck and self developed vehicles. The business includes sales of commercial vehicle, semi-trailer vehicles, and auto chassis, and auto manufacturer technology consult and import and export trade as well.
SAIC has successfully financed 1 billion Euros on Dec of 2010. The newly invested program includes self brand commercial vehicle with 112 million Euros. The newly established SAIC commercial vehicle company will develop self brand commercial vehicles.
At the moment, in SAIC commercial vehicle edition, commercial vehicle part is still the shortage besides Yuejin, Huizhong, Shanghai Diesel, SIH, etc.
