Xugong Heavy Duty Truck program to be established
(chinatrucks.com, Jan 26, 2011) It is learned by reporter on Jan 12th, 2011 that Xugong Heavy Duty Auto Program is one of the important programs during 2010 and 2015 period. Xugong Heavy Duty Auto Program includes heavy duty auto completely vehicles, axles, transmission and engine programs. The established scale contains annual capacities with 100,000 full series medium and heavy duty trucks, 60,000 axles, 150,000 heavy duty transmissions and 100,000 heavy duty auto diesel engine, etc.
Heavy duty truck is the strategic products with more input, more resources and more energy. Xugong will invest 50 million Euros in two years. It will speed up the R&D and manufacturer of new vehicles. It will invest 15 million Euros and 20 million Euros before 2015. Xugong will actively initiate international cooperation and introduce advanced products technologies. It has developed into mining transportation vehicles, special vehicles, and military vehicles, etc. It will make great efforts to realize annual capacities of 50,000 vehicles in five years, and stepped into the first group of China heavy truck and make Xugong products to be the international competitive products.
