CAMC Heavy Truck Explores Overseas Markets
www.chinatrucks.com: CAMC has received orders of 120 heavy trucks from Peru, 150 mining tippers and 400 heavy trucks from Indonesia and 70 heavy trucks from Malaysia since 2011. CAMC was keeping steady policies during financial crisis, and they are expecting more currently.
CAMC sold out over 30,000 trucks in 2010, up 67%, and they will try to sell 40,000 vehicles in 2011, and 20% of them will be exported.
CAMC mainly exports tractors, tippers and cement mixer trucks. CAMC takes different marketing methods for different vehicles. They relay on local dealers for logistics vehicles, mainly tractors, and they set project squads for major orders. They uses direct selling for engineering vehicles.
CAMC inventory of trucks in Southeast Asia are about 3,000 units with increasing customers. And they have established 4S shops in Indonesia. CAMC trucks have exported to East Europe, Africa, Middle East and South America etc. sixty countries and regions.
