Daimler top leaders visit Foton Motors
www.chinatrucks.com: Daimler top leaders including Dr. Manfred Bischoff, the board of supervisors, and Kerem, president of Daimler joint industrial council etc fifty senior management visited Foton Motors, and they were warmly welcomed by Xu Heyi, president of Beiqi Group and Wang Jinyu, general manager of Foton Motors on Sept. 29.
They discussed cooperation on heavy trucks and many other projects, and their cooperation agreement was ratified by Ministry of Commence on Sept. 20.
As the biggest truck maker in the world, Daimler has the advantages on high-end heavy trucks and engines, and Foton Motors will benefit a lot in this process. Daimler can also make use of Foton resources on making economic commercial vehicles and costs control. And they can explore truck markets in some emerging markets.
