700,000 Daimler trucks to be sold in 2020
www.chinatrucks.com: Order for Daimler trucks accumulated to 420,000 units from Jan. to Nov., up 26%, and the orders growth are mainly driven by North America, and 124,400 Daimler trucks were sold in the US, Canada and Mexico Jan. to Nov., up 81%.
53,500 Daimler trucks were sold in West Europe, up 11%, and 111,500 trucks were sold in Japan, comparable to previous year.
Sales growth of Daimler trucks will be kept next year, and European debt crisis will bring more unstable factors.
Daimler predicts that sales of trucks will amount to 500,000 units in 2013 and the figure will be 700,000 units in 2020.
