VIA to release VTRUX extended range electric vehicle
www.chinatrucks.com: American manufacturer VIA is going to release an extended range electric pickup, VTRUX, in the Detroit Auto Show in the end of 2012 to improve low-efficiency pickups.

Currently VIA is developing E-REV extended range electric vehicles, and VTRUX will be equipped with electro-motor and 24kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, and as long as 64 km can be covered on electric mode, and the longest range can be 640 km at most.
