Daimler AG Overweight OAO Kamaz ratified

www.chinatrucks.com: Russian Antitrust Division declared that they have ratified Daimler AG's request to overweight OAO Kamaz shares, from 15% to 25%+1. It is reported that Daimler AG may expand their shares in the future and the discussion is still undergoing.
OAO Kamaz is the 11th largest heavy truck maker in the world, and its production of diesel engines ranked the 8th.
Its biggest rival, VW is planning to build a truck alliance with Scania and MAN, and Daimler Trucks hopes to get more shares in emerging markets.
Delivery volumes of Daimler will reach 700,000 units till 2020.
