First Batch of “Made in China” IVECO Heavy Truck Enters Overseas Market

www.chinatrucks.com. Produced by SAIC-IVECO Hongyan, the Genlyon heavy truck is labeled “IVECO” for the first time to export to the African and Middle East countries.

According to the overseas export strategy and IVECO overseas product planning of SAIC-IVECO Honyan, a n export plan named “682” was launched in Sep. 2012. The plan symbolized the steps Genlyon has taken to the world stage. Meanwhile the move also meant the official confirmation to Genlyon from IVECO.

It is reported that the models in “682” share the same features with other Genlyon products. European standards were adopted during manufacturing and assembling. Complete English operation platform guaranteed the products meeting the needs of international market. After the completion, products would be checked and accepted by experts from IVECO to conduct repeated debugging. With meeting the agreed European quality standard, the product shall be authorized to be labeled “IVECO” nameplate.

Genlyon has received orders over 1,000, among which, 600 vehicles, including 6×4 tractors and 6×4dumpers have passed the examination by local commodity inspection and testing bureau and shall be shipped to overseas market in Dec. It is revealed that Hongyan Genlyon “682” has received more than 4,000 orders for the year of 2013.
