C&C: A Narrow Growth to Be Seen for Heavy Truck Market in 2013

www.chinatrucks.com. As Liubo, the newly elected president of C&C put it, the heavy truck market in 2013 would be better, however, it would not be as hot as in last a few years.

Liu is cautious in describing the heavy truck market next year and he believed that performances in various regions would differ from each other. Growth in some regions would probably drive the narrow growth in other markets.

The government will provide further policy supports to some regions and industries to stimulate the demands for heavy truck for the local market. In addition, subway projects in various regions will drive the demands for engineering trucks. Liu said that thought the market was faced with rapid decline in 2012, some regions maintained growth, such as the truck market in western regions. C&C would keep attentions on these regions.

As told by Liu, the subdivision under the unfriendly business environment would experience some changes. For example, with the rapid rise of logistics and drop and pull transport, the logistic would go through structural transformations, resulting to changes in demands in the tractor market. Meanwhile, LNG products would remain to be a hot topic next year.
