Sales Data of Main Heavy Truck & Mini Truck Markers in 2012
www.chinatrucks.com: In 2012, for the heavy truck market, the sales volume of the top five truck makers were far bigger than others and their market shares increased. The market shares of the top five truck makers were 81.2 percent, which increased 1.9 percent over the year of 2011. Among them, the highest one was Dongfeng Auto, which sold 130,800 units. Then it was followed by FAW and Sinotruck, which respectively were 109,000 units and 105,600 units. Beiqi Foton and Shaanxi Auto were 87,400 units and 83,900 units. But the other heavy truck makers’ sales volumes were less than 30,000 units.
It is seen from the sales growth, the top ten heavy truck makers’sales growth were all in negative growth by above 20 percent. SAIC–IVECO Hongyan decreased to the lowest one, which was 46.0 percent. The CAMC also decreased by 41.4 percent.

In the mini truck market, SAIC GM Wuling Automobile, Dongfeng Motor, Beiqi Foton and Chang’an Auto accounted for the main market share, which increased. Their total market share was 82.9 percent, up 3.3 percent over that was in 2011. Among them, SAIC GM Wuling Automobile was the highest one, who sold 136,000 units, which increased by 62.9 percent over that of 2011.
Dongfeng Auto and Beiqi Foton respectively sold 108,900 units and 108,200 units, with respectively increased by 3.7 percent and 7.2 percent. The sales volumes of Changan were 90,600 units.
