Sales & Market Share of China Trucks in Each Segment Markets in 2011 & 2012
www.chinatrucks.com: In 2012, an accumulative of 3.3038 million of Chinese trucks (including the completed, uncompleted and semi-trailer trucks) was sold, down 6.8 percent. The cost on the raw material and the work labor brought big challenge to China truck industry.

For the each segment markets, 636.000 units of heavy trucks were sold in 2012, down 27.8 percent over the sales in 2011; 290,300 units of medium trucks were sold, down 0.6 percent over the sales in 2011.
In the heavy truck market, it decreased by to in 2012, which was decreased the most. And the market share of heavy trucks in the overall China truck industry was 19.3 percent in 2012. But in 2011, the market share was 24.8 percent.
The light truck segment market was in the leading role in China truck market. The sale volume of light trucks decreased by 2.0 percent and the total sale volume were 1,842,700 units. The sale volumes of micro trucks were 534,800 units, which increased by 8.7 percent.
