EATON Launches FULLER Heavy-duty Gearbox
www.chinatrucks.com: In February 2013, EATON launched FULLER heavy-duty gearbox, improved in weight, transmission efficiency and fuel economy.
FULLER Advantage-series gearboxes consist of manual and automatic, which will be put into mass production in Q1 for urban freight.
Exquisite lubrication system in FULLER gearbox is one of the great technical progress. Besides, the gearbox housing is made of aluminum, 75 pounds lighter than iron one of last generation.
Technical upgrade:
Peak torque rises to 2508Nm from 1288Nm
There are six bolts in output shaft
There are ten overdrive gears and two reverse gears
Manual edition includes 17 different transmission ratio from 15.42 to 17.53
