Market Analysis of China Engine Industry Jan to May

www.chinatrucks.com: According to China Engine Sales Report made by China Engine Committee, and 5.18 engines were sold in May in China, down 2.48% over last year and the sale volumes were 25,685,900 units since Jan, down 1.18% over last year and 174.6 million kw for engines were finished in May, up 8% over last year, and the figure were 873 million kw from Jan to May, up 11.13% over last year. Compared with last year, sales of engine used for passenger cars and commercial vehicles are increasing.
 

3.8 million diesel engine were sold from Jan to May, down 4.48% over last year and 21.87 million petrol engine were sold in the same period of time, down 0.57% over last year.
 

1.64 diesel engines were sold from Jan to May, down 11.9% over last year and the top five engine makers are Changchai, Changfa, Jiangdong, Changling Nongzhuang and Camer, and the sales of diesel engine with single cylinder took 68.95 market shares.
 

2.16 million petrol engines with multi cylinders were sold from Jan to May, up 2.01% over last year and the top engine makers are Weichai, Yuchai, Quanchai, Xichai, Xinchai, Yunnei Power, JMC, Dongfeng Cummins, Huayuan Laidong and Changchai, and their sales took 68.13% shares.
 

4.46 million petrol engine with multi cylinder were sold from Jan to May, down 4.91% over last year.

 
7.51 petrol engine with multi cyliders were sold from Jan to May, up 9.5% over last year.
