C&C New U Series Trucks Enter Cold-chain Markets
www.chinatrucks.com: On May 13, 2015, C&C Truck delivered three U series cold-chain transporting trucks with 460Hp, which marks that C&C U series trucks enter cold-chain transport markets formally, and they are going to provide safe and high efficient trucks for the customers.
The company has ordered 13 C&C U series trucks, and they plan to own 30 such trucks in the end of this year to replace the original trucks.
The three trucks are all new U series 6x2 tractors and the gross weight of the truck is 8.564 tons with double aluminum fuel cylinders and air suspension to reduce the weight of the trucks and to make sure smooth running of the vehicle. And Telematics system is used for the fleet.
The head of the company said that the equipment for China cold -chain transport industry are rather old although the industry has developed for some time, and they were importing trucks before worrying possible problems of domestic trucks.
They have purchased a 420Hp C&C tractor in 2013 and over the 200,000 km for one year, although the quality is not as good as Toyota trucks with minor problems, but the driving is rather safe and smooth, and he is rather satisfied with the fuel consumption. And the fuel consumption from Beijing and Guangzhou, its fuel consumption is 33L per km which is like that of a Volvo truck, which is 32L per km.
