Sales of SAIC Commercial Vehicles in May
www.chinatrucks.com: SAIC released its sales report in May. And the total sales amounted to 434,400 units, down 4.51% over last year, and they produced 480,000 units, up 2.69% over last year. And they sold 2,415,700 units from Jan to May, down 0.96% over last year, and they produced 2,543,300 units in this period, up 4.78% over last year.
And sales of heavy trucks and large buses decreased the most. And SIH sold 902 trucks in May and 3912 units from Jan to May, down 60.95% and 71.38% over last year. And sales of SAIC Commercial Vehicles sold 3106 units in May, up 153.14% over last year, and they sold 12474 units from Jan to May, up 112.32% over last year. And sales of NAVECO decreased by 36.88% over last year.
