Ethiopia Embraces Hyva Front Hydraulic System
www.chinatrucks.com: Currently, the majority of the self-discharging vehicles in Ethiopia are imported from China. However, a sound after-sale customer service network has so far not been put in place for repair and maintenance of these vehicles. Hyva officially entered Ethiopia in 2013. After setting up cooperative ties with METEC, a local importer, Hyva has been exploring the market in Ethiopia. Before then, METEC had always imported a different type of self-discharging vehicle.

In 2014, METEC imported over 500 units chassis for self-discharging vehicles and Hyva FE front hydraulic systems. The container of 16 cubic meters was manufactured in Ethiopia. Then, the self-discharging vehicles were assembled there. Thus, the African claims its first batch of front hydraulic self-discharging vehicles.
In the meantime, Hyva has been making steady progress with its semi-trailer self-discharging vehicles. After operating the vehicles for only three months, customers expressed their satisfaction with them and placed an order of another 50 units. In an effort to provide unparalleled after-sales services for the local OEM customers and users, Hyva designated M/S AfiTrac Company as its franchised service station in Ethiopia.
