www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng Liuqi Rolled out Chenglong M7 high-speed tractor to meet the high-speed delivery in logistics market in the end of 2014. The brand new Chenglong M7 high-speed 2016 tractor was rolled out in high profile with the upgrading of power and breakthrough of performance after two years.
The engine of Chenglong M7 high-speed 2016 tractor was further upgraded. The WP12.430E40(430PS) engine installed on Chenglong M7 high-speed tractor was upgraded into WP12.460E40(460PS) engine. The overtaking is easier and grade climbing is more powerful after the upgrading of engine. The gear ratio of rear axle was upgraded from 3.08 into 2.867. The perfect combination of big-horsepower engine, direct shift gearbox and rear axle of mall gear ratio is the mainstream device of heavy-duty trucks in Europe and America. The transmission efficiency is higher and the fuel saving performance is better.
The former tank of 600L was upgraded into aluminum alloy tank of 700L. The bigger tank makes the continuous driving mileage longer and saves the fuel filling time in transportation. The electromagnetic fan clutch, multiple-power fuel-efficient switch and fuel water cooler improved the performance of engine in various working conditions, lowered the fuel cost and realized more economical fuel consumption. Low air-resistance streamline design, effectively lowered the wind drag in driving, can lower the overall fuel consumption by 1—2L. It can save the operation cost by 20,000 RMB at most every year at the estimation of driving of 150,000 KM.
Most of drivers of high-speed logistics delivery are engaged in medium and long haul transportation. So they can get tired easily. Thus the demand of driving comfortability is much higher. The smoothness of Chenglong M7 high-speed 2016 tractor is most advanced in China for the vibration acceleration of driving chair is only 0.4—0.7 with the equipment of spacious flat floor, floating airbag and suspending cockpit, luxurious airbag shock-absorbing seat. The realization of comfortable driving experience let truck users feel satisfied in medium and long haul transportation.
