SAIC MAXUS Overseas Market to Boost
www.chinatrucks.com: In April, SAIC MAXUS sold vehicles 3805 units, up by 61% year on year. Currently, SAIC MAXUS has accumulated sales of 14,526 units, up by 55% year on year. Among them, V80 euro wide light bus was sold 9,742 units and G10 MPV was sold 4,784 units totally.
In Beijing, SAIC MAXUS released the automotive industry's first C2B product SUV D90 concept car. As a whole terrain, full size, all areas large SUV product, SUV D90 meets people travel demand with all terrain intelligent four-wheel drive system, the size of large space and flexible seating layout, and it is the first time to use "Deconstruction" ideas make cars in the automotive industry. Customers can deeply join in the whole process of product development, as results of this SUV D90 become the first completely designed vehicle by users in auto development history. At the same time, V80 as China first fuel cell light bus also debut in Beijing Auto Show. V80 is developed with new generation hydrogen fuel cell system based on V80 platform. V80 driving range can reach 400km, is the first green fuel cell light bus in the world, but also the first and unique commercial fuel cell vehicle in domestic market.
In Birmingham Auto Show, SAIC MAXUS delivered products to Britain APC Company and Ireland national post office. Except this, MAXUS also won Ireland national prison orders. From Jan to Apr, SAIC MAXUS totally sold 2,917 vehicles in the overseas market which take 20% of the total sales, up by 243% year on year. With the expansion of overseas markets such as Europe, SAIC MAXUS overseas sales will continue to rise in the future.
