SAIC MAXUS T60 Rolled-off Ceremony Held in Wuxi
www.chinatrucks.com: On November 21, SAIC MAXUS second stage project of assembly plant foundation and T60 roll-off line ceremony were held in Wuxi Base.

The first vehicle of SAIC MAXUS V80 rolled off the production line in September, 2010, and three years after the second vehicle, MPV G10 was launched successfully. And just in the Guangzhou Auto Show SAIC MAXUS unveiled its third vehicle, T60 pickup. All these vehicles has enriched SAIC MAXUS production line and ensure the company’s trans-boundary development. Today, we witnessed this moment together.

On the last October 14, the second phrase of SAIC MAXUS investment cooperation agreement signing ceremony was held officially in Huishan economic development zone in Wuxi. SAIC MAXUS made additional investment of over 3.6 billion Yuan to built vehicle body painting plant, assembly line, hydraulic pressure big group line and other production equipment, continuing to improve product quality and cost performance, enhance the products market competitiveness and expand the sales of domestic and overseas market. Wuxi Base newly increased production capacity to 200 thousand units on the basis of the original 50 thousand capacity. It laid solid foundation for SAIC MAXUS to become the commercial vehicle company with globe competitiveness.

The assembly plant No.2 is the last single project in Jinhui Road construction, marking the completion of the second phase of the SAIC MAXUS project. The upcoming T60 pickup can meet the requirement of the Euro VI emission standards, and also used high strength whole body frame structure. A series of modern process has ensured MAXUS T60 up to antiseptic standards for 10 years, as well as five star crash safety standard.
