The Third China Heavy-duty Truck Bo’ao Forum Held in Hainan
On January 5, the Third China Heavy-duty Truck Bo’ao Forum, which was organized by China Transport Communication Center, China Logistics & Purchase Association and China Automobile Technological Research Center, hosted by SAIC Iveco Hongyan Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as SAIC Hongyan), was held in Hainan.

Themed with “Exploring 2020”, this year’s forum consists of three sections, including “China’s Heavy-duty Truck Exploration”, “Sharing and Exchanging China Heavy-duty Truck Latest Achievements”, and “China Heavy-duty Truck Declaration”. While welcoming truck makers and research institutions attending the forum, Mr. Zhou Kewen pointed out that the forum aims to further promote the fast and sound development of China’s heavy-duty truck industry.
In the face of a host of challenges, experts agreed that enterprises in China’s heavy-duty truck industry must seek creative development mode and make constant technological innovations. Only on the back of high quality products and solid reputations can any truck makers survive the cutthroat competition in the global market.

Xiang Dang, General Manager of SAIC Advanced Technologies Research Department, introduced Hongyan 5G Intelligent Trucks Operating at Yangshan Port and showed how the latest information technologies, telecommunication technologies, big data, and AI are becoming increasingly integrated with heavy-duty trucks.
At the forum, Agricultural Product Refrigerating Monitoring Platform Attached to China’s Ministry of Commerce, Shanghai Jieqing Tech Co., Ltd. and Wuhu CIMC Ruijiang Automobile Co., Ltd. revealed their customized refrigerating solutions, fuel cell development and commercialization, and special vehicle integrated solutions.
