CATL-Beiben Agree to Continue Working to Deepen Cooperation
On October, 20, a delegation from CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., paid a working visit to Beiben Truck, a heavy-truck manufacturer based in Baotou. The delegation was comprised of 14 people and lead by Lai Yongjie, executive president of Commercial Vehicle Unit.
CATL and Beiben have maintained close relations since establishing strategic cooperation in 2019. During the visit, He Qing, president of Beiben Truck, highlighted the progress CATL has made in recent years and said the company would continue to work closely and extend their cooperation with CATL in various fields, to promote the development of new energy industry.
CATL, a Chinese Electric Vehicle Battery Manufacturer, has been committed to supplying more efficient and more reliable power solutions for new energy vehicles. After the visit, a consensus was reached between CATL and Beiben regarding the supply of battery and cost control.
During the factory tour, Lai Yongjie, accompanied by Wang Tiesheng made visits to various departments of Beiben and took a ride on Beiben’s electric vehicles.
