The 10000th Units Trucks Assembled at FAW South Africa Plant
With the 10000th Units assembled at its Coega Manufacturing plant, FAW Trucks South Africa are making history happen.
In recent years, the plant has made rapid progress in localized production and sales and service networks. In 2021, FAW South Africa Plant saw its sales volume amount to 1,700 units, and cracked the top in terms of the market share in 3, 5, and 8 tons truck segments.
Last year, FAW won the “silver award of dealer satisfaction in 2021” in a selection event hosted by the South African Dealer Association (NADA).
In 2022, FAW South Africa has saw its monthly output exceeded 200 units for many months. In May, the plant’s cumulative output and sales volume has exceeded 9,000 units, and just six months later, it realized the threshold of 10,000 units.
FAW is a leading global manufacturer of quality passenger cars, trucks, and buses. Established in 1953, the company is China’s oldest and largest automotive group. Annual sales exceed three million units.
