Shandong Heavy Industry,Orix Group Continue to Expand Cooperation

On February 20, Tan Xuguang led a delegation from Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Weichai Power to Tokyo to visit Orix Group. Orix Group CEO Ryo Inoue, Executive Director and Greater China Region President Li Hao led the management team to warmly welcome Tan Xuguang. The two sides held talks and exchanges on expanding cooperation.

Inoue welcomed the visit of Tan Xuguang and his delegation, saying that he was grateful to his old friends for visiting him in Tokyo again. He hopes that the two sides will deepen business cooperation in the leasing of new energy vehicles in Japan in the future. Orix also has an investment company in Qingdao, Shandong and h hopes Tan would provide some development suggestions.

Tan Xuguang said that the cooperation projects between Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Orix Group in Southeast Asia and Japan have broad prospects. On February 18, after the High-level Opening-up and High-quality Investment Promotion Conference of Shandong Province, I came to Japan for the first stop to discuss cooperation. I hope Orix Group will continue to expand its investment in Shandong, and I will do my best to provide consulting support for Orix's development in China, especially in Shandong, and further expand the scope of cooperation between the two sides.

Orix is Japan's largest financing provider of car leasing. On November 3, 2023, Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Orix Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on product export financial support at the Shandong Key Equipment Manufacturing Project Promotion meeting.
