Yuchai Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with FUTA Group
On August 27, 2024, the China (Guangxi) - Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) Trade Cooperation Meeting took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The meeting aimed to explore how to turn the cooperation potential between businesses in Guangxi and Ho Chi Minh City into tangible results. Key attendees included Liu Ning, Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee; Wu Wenhuan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; and Wei Huaxiang, Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City.
Yuchai Group, representing Chinese enterprises, participated in the meeting and signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Vietnam's FUTA Group. During the meeting, 30 units and enterprises from Guangxi and Vietnam signed 14 cooperation agreements covering areas such as trade facilitation, investment, financing, consumption, logistics, and human resources.
Li Hanyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yuchai Group, spoke during the exchange session as the sole Chinese corporate representative. He shared Yuchai's successful experience in the Vietnamese market and market expansion strategies. Li expressed confidence that with strong support from both governments and good cooperation with FUTA Group, Yuchai will further expand in the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets and contribute to the economic and social development between China and Vietnam.
